Is there only 1 hotel with terrace rooms in Florence???
Hi, all,
Thanks for all the posts on charming hotels near Piazza della Signoria. They are all great, but so far, have only found one room with a terrace and that room is booked!
Does anyone know of any other hotel in the 150-200Euro range besides the Torre Guelfa with rooms with terraces or balconies?

Yes, lots of research online and I have stayed in the Torre Guelfa, but so far I have turned up several nice little bed & breakfasts, but the rooms seem to have windows, not terraces or balconies. My husband & I love to sit out at night, so I really would love a balcony/terrace.
The Hermitage has balconies, but I'm concerned about traffic noise by the Arno.
Have you stayed in a hotel with a balcony in Florence? I'd appreciate any suggestions! Thanks in advance!

Hello cybertraveler, I would think finding a hotel with a balcony in the range of 150-200E would be difficut.
I am not familar with the Hermitage, but I have stayed at the Westin Excelsior which is across the street from the River Arno, and traffic noise was never a problem. However, city noises are never a problem for me, perhaps you are different.
IMO if you really want a terrace (and I sure understand that) and found a hotel that is suitable for you and within your budget I would reserve it immediately. There are always noises so to speak when one stays in a large city. But just look at is as the "music of Italia"!
