Is there an all germany 1 day rail pass for weekdays?

I plan to travel frankfurt to cochem tomorrow And think i can buy a 40 pass. But then russ or palenq stated my return trip to frankfurt would be over 71 euro for two. I've not done well on train tickets. Bought an all day frankfurt ticket today for travel around the city plus bad homberg. when i asked the bahn.de folks how to add on bad homberg they said the frankfurt ticket would do no good and punched up a day ticket for bad homberg at 9 euro addition. Is there an all germany day pass across state borders? Or do i book cochem to koblenz and the a hessen ticket around mainz? i think i figured out my answer, i will be travelling before 9
