Is there a Limit to time spent at Eiffel Tower

We will purchase the tickets online for the Eiffel Tower. We'd like to go near dusk so that we can take advantage of the daylight and nighttime views. Is there a limit to how long you can stay at the Eiffel Tower once you are on the 2nd level? We don't want to spend the day - just an hour or so. Also, does anyone know what time dusk would occur in late April? Thank you,

could always be cloudy or raining at that time of year - go on the first clear day- one problem with pre-reserving time slots online though.

Spend a week, and you still won't see all the Eiffel Tower has to offer.

The second level is for amateurs. Go to the top and stay until vertigo drives you to nausea. That was me.

Also, go on Sunday. There is significantly less pollution and better visibility. For a really spectacular view over Paris go to the overlook at Saint-Cloud. It is aptly named, plus you will be standing on firm ground.
