Is Paris booming? Il apparaît que oui...

According to the official Paris tourism office, tourism continues to increase despite economic conditions around the world. American tourist are up almost 15%, Swiss up almost 24%. Median hotel room cost increased 6% to 164 euro, and 4,000 new hotel rooms are slated to come on line in the next 4-5 years. Interestingly, projections call for brisk increase in tourists visiting from emerging countries. http://www.lemonde.fr/economie/article/2012/08/24/dans-le-paysage-morose-du-tourisme-paris-fait-de-la-resistance_1750955_3234.html (sorry only in French but written at pretty elementary level )
