We are a family of four and we are thinking of a holiday in cyprus during april next year. What kind of weather can we expect - will it be warm enough to spend time on the beach and swim for example? How does it compare with say the balearics in july/august?
is cyprus warm in april?

I have been to Cyprus once on the first week of April. Days were nice and warm and sunny, but it got very chilly in the evenings. I mean thick sweater or fleece chilly. Also water is not yet warm enough to swim.
And you cannot compare April in Cyprus to July/August in the Baleares, because August in Baleares is HOTHOTHOTHOTHOT.
The Baleares, mainly Mallorca, had the worst rain falls ever these days!
Must be a nightmare right now, for tourists and locals.
