Is Confirmation Number OK to Prove Booking for Colosseum Tour?

Jump to last reply

I recently called the official ticket office reserving an underground tour because we will be using the Roma Pass. It was very easy after waiting on hold for a while. I received a confirmation number and was told that I would receive an email the next day. I never received the email.

I have subsequently tried calling the office three different days between 2:30 and 3:30pm in Italy. Each time I wait on hold for about 10 minutes and then the music and recorded message stops. I talk and the line goes to dial tone.

Can someone tell me if the confirmation number is sufficient to get in? Or do we need to show an official email? If that is the case, could someone give me an email address to use so that I can give them my confirmation number and get the email sent?

I really would appreciate the help, since these calls from the US are becoming rather expensive !
