You want want to do a search or look at slow travel to get you started. However, these two are highly recommended if you're looking for something in town.

Il Sasso arranges apartments for students (shared or not) and the prices listed on their website are very low. I would expect pretty low prices in November.

HI Travelfan1,
have you received any feedback regarding Belguardo? If you do stay there I would be interested in what you think. The only matter that concerns me is that there has been no feedback, but that may be because it has only recently be put up for rent.As it is close to Porta al Prato it may be a little noisy.Maybe someone can enlighten me.

Travelfan 1, I've been emailing the owner. He does seem genuine and the apartment looks great. The deal there seems very reasonable compared to other apartments. He also doesn't require a deposit. You pay when you arrive. He's been very helpful and responds to my emails promptly.I'm going to take the chance.

DAP51 - Hard to believe they don't take a deposit. Let us know what you think of the place and have a great trip.

We stayed at one of the apartments mentioned by travelfan1 -
http://www.appartamentialpoggiolo.it/ It was fantastic. And they don't take deposits either. It's not all that unusual.

On the Belguardo apartment website, I looked at the photos and if the restaurant that is in the archway to the left of the entrance to the apartment is the one I think it is (La Briciola) - we had a great lunch there.

I've accidentally came across this forum by googling the name of the apartment that my family owns and I manage. I hope now you can find additional info and reviews on other websites.
