Is Anyone Familiar with Rentavilla.com?

Am finalizing my search for an apartment in the Marais for May, when I came across this agency, who also lists on Homeaway, They have an extensive worldwide presence and offices in Seattle and Paris, and have been lovely to deal with, but none of their apartments appear to have reviews as yet and other than their well-organized website, I cant find anything about them.
Was looking at one in particular on Rue Mahler.
Any input on the agency appreciated.

I"ve heard of them, I think in travel articles in the paper or magazines, not sure. Interestingly, they have for rent one apt. I rented at one time in the Latin Qtr, but under a different agency. As usual, the photos are a little glamorized and some things aren't shown, but that's the norm for this kind of thing. I find their website attractive but irritating in that you can't sort the listings by arrondisement (or even "area" as some have). But sorry, I didn't deal with these folks.

I presume you noticed that apt you like doesn't have a full bathroom, the tub/shower is in a separate room from the toilet. Which is common, I just don't like it if they are too far apart.

I know you are done looking, but I did find one on the street you said you liked at the same agency I rented the one that is now on Rentavilla, I was just curious if they also had that listing. http://locaflat.com/aptlist/temple.html
I liked that agency, but they are French and locally-based. I liked that, actually, they had an office I could go to to pick up the key, and they called me to see if I was okay once when some neighbor had a water spill. Their money arrangements were reasonable, also.

Have you checked slowtrav.com, they have some various apt reviews on there for Paris, and Tripadvisor but I think those are only for places advertising on TA.

I know that apartment! It is lovely and friends stayed there as well!
It didn't work for one of the members of our group unfortunately because of the winding steps up to the bedroom.
Both of the apts I'm considering have the one toilet in a separate room issue. I'm actually OK with that because I am a bathtub hogger, which leaves the toilet available to the rest. Obviously 1.5 full bathrooms would have been ideal.

Yes, I'm familiar with them and have worked with them in the past. If you have any questions, I'm sure Nikki will be able to help.

A word of caution... I believe there are two very similarly named companies. There is rentvillas.com from whom I get frequent emails and I think the Nikki that Robert refers to works for them. They are based in Ventura, CA. The company you are referring to rentavilla.com is based in Seattle. They may well both be reputable companies but you need to make sure that the comments you rely upon are really about the one you are considering using.
