Is a one hour and 5 min. layover in Istanbul enough time?

Jump to last reply

We are flying from West Coast of US to Kilimanjaro. Turkish Airlines is the best airfare by about $800 (there are 5 of us flying, so this is significant). I have read reviews on Turkish Airlines here and feel comfortable flying with them, but just worried about the 1 hr. 5 min. layover. We generally do carryon only so that should help - but still, will we have to go through customs and passport control? - this would be our first stop from the US.

I did also ask this on the Africa Forum but thought I should ask here as well.
