If you are looking for an excellent way to see Ireland, especially on your first trip, and you do not want a big bus tour, try Wolfhound Adventure Tours. This is a small company owned and operated by Dave O'Connor. Dave knows his stuff; the history, the legends, the music, the accents, the local expressions, the hidden healing wells and stone circles and ancient ring forts. He will start out as your tour guide but by the end of day one, you'll feel like you're traveling with a friend. All lodging (including breakfast) is arranged for you - all places are comfortable and cozy and clean. You can ride, bike or walk; the choice is yours. You can stop here or not; go there or not. And all the while, you are entertained with music that fits the landscape/moment, stories, history, jokes and the occasional tune sung by Dave. You cannot possibly be disappointed. Dave is a wonderfully warm, funny and intelligent Irishman and so obviously loves his country and enjoys what he does. It was pure pleasure to travel with him and I can't wait to do it again!
