Ireland Trip - Final Decision

Jump to last reply

We will be ending our tour of west/ southwest Ireland on Monday, July 15. We must return our rental car to the Dublin Airport by 3 p.m. The day before, July 14, we will tour the Ring of Kerry, travelling counter-clockwise from Killarney. Knowing that will be a full day's adventure, should we book accommodation in Kenmare at day's end, or travel on to the Cork area?. We weren't sure which of those two options would make the most sense given our need to be in Dublin on the 15th, While it is easy enough to work out the distances, it's harder to imagine what road/ traffic/ other conditions we might encounter. Thanks very much for your help.
