A friend's son is going to Ireland later this year and thinks he might like to go on a tour vs driving himself and girlfriend. (They are in their early 20's so may not be able to rent a car.)
Since I have never used a tour company for our trips, I am asking for any recommendations for tour companies that you have used and liked.
Thanks!

There are different types of tour companies and a lot would depend on their interests. Stay away from the up and on the road at 6am see the world in a day type's and look at more detailed offerings. CIE get great reviews although the average age can be knocking 50 they do have younger patrons. My main consideration might be Paddywaggon or Wolfhound tours who cater for the younger more adventurous folk.

The other option could just be to get the bus or train between locations of their personal choice and take day trips from these.
Don't know whether this is the sort of thing that would interest them, but they cater to a younger crowd:

A few years back there was a Fodor's regular (Cowboycraic) who had very good things to say about this company.
Well, this is embarrassing. Just realized Tony had already mentioned Paddy Wagon! Well, now you have two recs for them.
