Ireland - only 5 Nights

Jump to last reply

Heading to Dublin in June but unfortunately only have 5 nights. Our original plan was for longer and we were looking forward to heading west after a couple days in Dublin. The Rock of Cashel, some castles, Moher, Kenmare/Killarney area - they all really excited us. However, not wanting to be running all the time, I'm thinking that it might make more sense to stay in Dublin and take day trips to Newgrange and Glendalough instead and hope we return to Ireland one day in the future. Does that make sense? Will I be settling for "second best"? Am I going to kick myself for not going to some of these spots? Your thoughts would be appreciated.
