Ireland itinerary via bus/train

Jump to last reply

My husband and I will be arriving Dublin mid September. We would like a suggested travel itinerary for 7 days. We would like to travel by train and or bus staying in each area 2-3 days. We currently have reservation in Dublin for first 2 nights but no firm plans beyond that. Perhaps head toward Galway and then maybe south and west before staying in BB near Shannon airport for departure on day 8. We are open for suggestions for tours (preferably small), places to stay, eat, visit. We do not want to be burdened with car; prefer to have someone else do the driving. We are physically fit and enjoy walking but not hiking. Any recommendations are much appreciated.
