Can anyone tell me what the weather is like in January? I am making reservations and everything seems to be booked. Why is that?

Might be able to predict early January weather in late December. It will be cold it may rain or snow or both within the same 5 minutes.
Depends where and which accommodation you are looking at. Many small places will be closed.
Where would you suggest to go in January? I was going to drive from Dublin straight to Kenmare and stay for 4 nights then work my way back up to Dublin by staying 2 nights in Baltimore, 2 nights in Avoca, 1 night in Enniskerry and the last night by the airport in Dublin. I am rethinking Avoca and in fact the whole plan.
I am looking for nice little towns. Should I make my way up North instead?
