My top ten would be:<BR><BR>1. Cliffs of Mohr<BR>2. Killarney (the town, the lakes, including the Torc Waterfall, etc.)<BR>3. Dublin (I really enjoyed it, I know some people say not to go, personal choice)<BR>4. The Burren<BR>5. Waterford Crystal Factory (very touristy, but I loved it!)<BR>6. Any and all pubs, especially with traditional music<BR>7. St. Patrick's Cathedral<BR><BR>ok, some I wish we would have had time to do:<BR>Rock of Cashel<BR>Galway<BR>Dingle<BR>more coastal towns<BR><BR>Good luck deciding and you'll have a great time no matter where you go or what you do! The town of Killarney is on my top 10 list of places NOT to go.<BR><BR>On a more positive note (and in no particular order)<BR><BR>Connemara<BR>Wicklow Mountains<BR>Glendalough (in the Wicklows)<BR>Mourne Mountains<BR>Antrim Coast Road<BR>Malin Head/Inishowen Penisula in Donegal<BR>Dublin<BR>Belfast<BR>Kilkenny<BR>

Hmm, my top ten would be (in no particular order)<BR><BR>1. Cliffs of Mohr<BR>2. Galway<BR>3. Dingle<BR>4. Glendalough<BR>5. Dublin<BR>6. Kilkenny<BR>7. Ring of Kerry (skip Killarney stay further out away from the tour buses)<BR>8. Wicklow mountains <BR><BR>and the remaining I missed<BR><BR>9. Connemara<BR>10. Kinsale<BR><BR>I wish we would have gone to Kinsale and instead of going to Cork and stopping to see the Blarney Stone. Limerick is not worth it either, just another city.<BR><BR>Ireland is a great country, you'll love it!

Kylemore Abbey<BR>7. Sheep ( can't miss them) <BR><BR>On my next trip ( spring) I am going to see: <BR>1. Doolin<BR>2. Glendalough / Powerscourt<BR>3. Kilkenny<BR>4. Kinsale<BR>5. Dingle Penninsula<BR>So then I will be able to finish off my top 10 list.

OK, my choices in no particular order (or maybe they are)<BR><BR>*Mizen Peninsula <BR>*Donegal Coast (OK, thats huge so the sub categories would be Fanad Head, Horn Head, Slieve League and the drive along the "scenic coastal route from Killeybegs to Carrick.<BR>*Antrim Coast Rd, but don't forget to take the Torr Rd when you get to Cushendun ... if you dare.<BR>*Kenmare<BR>*Beara Peninsula<BR>*Sheep's Head Peninsula<BR>*Glendalough<BR>*Cliffs of Moher (either very early or very late, but if you go in the middle of the day, it might not make my top 20)<BR>*Dingle Peninsula<BR>*Glens of Antrim<BR><BR>I haven't had the chance to explore Glenveigh Nat'l Park or Achill Island yet so they may enter into the picture. Generally, I prefer the quieter places. I could easily add, for instance, the backroad from Westport to Clifden through Louisburgh and over Doo Lough Pass. I am confident that many would consider a trip to Ireland with me pretty dull because I don't always go for staying out late and partying (though I can be convinced).<BR><BR>The complaints about Killarney are well documented, but I understand there are some hidden places that are wonderful. I don't know where they are ... sorry. The bulk of the town is VERY touristy though. On the other hand, quite overlooked is the area before you arrive in Killarney. The view across the lakes and to the mountains is spectacular. We stumbled across a very old cemetary on the outskirts and the view was beautiful from there.<BR><BR>OK, I'll shut up. I can't explain to my friends why it is I go back again and again when there are so many other places in the world to go. I'll try to find time to fit some in, but I'm just drawn there.<BR><BR>Bill<BR>
