Ireland Driving Itinerary

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are travelling in March. We will only be there for about a week. We are thinking about flying into London and spending a day or two there. Then, we will head to Ireland for 5 days (one day includes travel from London). We are thinking about beginning and/or ending in Dublin, but we don't have to.

If you only have 5 days in Ireland what are some must-see suggestions?

It will be the week of St. Patrick's Day. Should we spend some time in Dublin? Will it be so busy we can't see anything?

If we decide to spend 2 days in Dublin (including travel time from London), any advice for a 3-4 day driving itinerary to see some other sites?

Any tips for saving money while we are there? Any good hostels in the suggested areas?
