I'll be renting a car out of Shannon. Can any of you recommend the site
Ecomomycarrentals.com to find a vehicle? I've found this site has some great cars to rent and include insurance.
Thanks for your input!

Sarah, we have used economycarrentals a couple of times. They are a broker like autoeurope and kemwel so your contract will be with whatever rental company they contract with out of Shannon.
One of the best things I've found when renting with them is that they usually have contracts with rental companies that don't charge for a second driver. This was not the case, however, for Ireland or Italy where it seems all companies charge ridiculously high fees for a second driver. We chose autoeurope for our trip to Ireland next week because I am using my World Mastercard to waive the additional insurance fees rather than the all inclusive insurance rate offered by economy. I'm assuming 'ecomomy' is a typo (as the corresponding page appears to be a squatter page).
I'm guessing it should be http://www.economycarrentals.com/
No experience with them, but the prices look OK. Be sure to read the fine print, as there appear to be a lot of hoops to jump through in order to get refunded any excess you have to pay. They may also put a nice, big hold on your credit card - not a bad thing as long as you have the room for it and know it's coming.
They are reviewed on this site and it seems to be a mixed bag: http://www.reviewcentre.com/products695.html
Actually if you go off of that site, very few companies (that have a significant number of reviews, at least) end up doing very well.
Thanks. I went on the review site jefe recommended, and the whole rental thing seems fraught with problems! THanks for the tip.
