Ireland 9 days and 5 Adults Sept-Oct

Jump to last reply

Flights booked and now the planning begins for 9 full days in Ireland.
Here are the thoughts...is it reasonable
Day 1 and 2 (Tuesday is day 1) Arrive in Dublin stay in Dublin.
Day 3 depart Dublin via train straight across to Galway (Recommended by Irish friend) Stay Galway day 3, rent car Day 4.
Day 4 drive up as far as Westport, stay in Westport.
Day 5 leave Westport head south to Cliffs of Moher area , possible stay in Limerick
Day 6 Head to Killarney, stay night
Day 7 Head to Tralee to stay in Ballyseede Castle, we would like to have 1 castle stay somewhere...Ballyseede looked good.
Day 8 Head back to Galway, drop off car take train back to Dublin
Day 9 Dublin again before departure on Day 10
Wanting to do ROK when in that area. Does this sound reasonable plan, any modifications recommended?
Thanks
