Has anyone tried to use the iPhone in Paris, with ATT service ? If so, are most of the features working?
I am told that Vodaphone will have service with the iPhone in France, any news of this? I am hoping I can get a Vodaphone contract to switch SIMM cards when I am there?

From what I'm reading, Vodaphone won't launch the iPhone until around December this year.
An iPhone bought in the US will be locked to AT&T Wireless. Until someone find out how to unlock it, that is.
I was wondering if anyone has taken their iPhone from the US to use in Paris, roaming through ATT?
I am sure that someone will come up with a way to unlock it as well, that is the nature of entrepeneurship

I'm just wondering why anybody wants an iPhone when there are other phones on the market that do more for less money.
It will not be aunched in Europe until later in the year, and then only in "selected" countries, with "selected" carriers.
