Hi again,
My DH has to have connectivity to the U.S. for work. Could anyone direct me to good info to know how to prepare that ahead of time? We have both Verizon & AT&T accounts right now. He has the mifi card with Verizon as well.
Is there a differnet cell plan/package/etc. that is best? We bought phones and sim cards in Spain, but had a lot of problems and the minutes were gone in seconds.
He skyped business calls when we were in Spain & the UK recently, but we had more time to figure it out.
thank you!

We just returned from Italy. I took an I-Pad and connected anywhere there was WI-FI available (all of our hotels had WI-FI)just as you would in the US, no problem.
In Italy, TIM (mobile company) seems to have good bundles for phone and data for travelers. I've been researching it for a month in Italy this Fall, and that is "the way" I'm likely to go!
My daughter studied abroad in Italy for 6 months. Purchasing a phone and adding minutes as you go along is the way to go, as they are much cheaper than using an American plan like AT&T.

You will use less minutes if they call him. My daughter would call and ask us to call her back...which of course cost us more
