insurance 4 car hire . com

Going to Ireland April 27th renting a car. All car rentals there are outragious.

Budget is the cheapest I found yet after getting CDW, Theft protection it is another 15 Euros/day extra insurance to cover the 1st 1362 Euros deductable and that doesn't cover windows, tires, underside or interior of the vehicle.

With these additional insurance charges, Location Surcharge, Daily Road Tax the final bill cost more than their base rate!

On another Forum I read that you can buy insurance at www.insurance4carhire.com
you can buy excess insurance for a 1/3 of the cost or better depending how long.

1) Has anyone bought this insurance that needed it in Ireland?
2) Did you have trouble getting car rental person in Ireland using this insurance without having to put money down?
3) Any comments on what I should do will be appreciated
