My college student daughter will be traveling alone in mid-Jan. from Innsbruck - Paris.
Any suggestions for time and cost efficient route, train vs bus vs plane?
Thank you from her concerned MOM!

Hi mj,

Try
www.whichbudget.com for discount airfare.
www.bahn.de lists train schedules. There is a night train at 17:27that makes a stop in Verona.
Train fares and tickets are at http://www.oebb.at/ or at the French website
www.voyages-sncf.com. The latter will send tickets by mail to her Innsbruck hotel. Sometimes there are cheaper fares here.
My choice would be to take the train to Munich airport and fly from there to Paris.
Air France and Lufthansa both fly that route for as low as $128 round trip.
