Inn At Spanish Steps or Albergo Del Senato. Which would you choose?

I originally made reservations for Inn At The Spanish Steps but after reading such excellent reviews here and on Trip Advisor, etc. I could also have reservations at Albergo Del Senato. The price difference is only $300 so that is not a problem. Location to the sights of Rome are a consideration. Help me please. Which hotel would be best?

I love del Senato and I've read several times here that the Spanish Steps have construction occuring there at the moment. Even without that, I'd pick the Senato. It's location for visiting the Pantheon, the Forum, Piazza Navona, the Jewish Quarter and Vatican is excellent.

Speaking strictly from the difference in location, Albergo del Senato is defintely the better choice. Plus, that hotel gets lots of raves here.
