Information on Huesca, Spain?

Information on Huesca, Spain?
I am planning a trip to Spain for next year. Will probably be in August or September. I am contenplating an overnight in or near Huesca. Can anyone tell me a little about this town? Is it at all "picturesque" or interesting? I know there are hiking trails outside of the city, but I want to know about the city itself. Also, would it be fun during the Festival of San Lorenzo-or would this be a "zoo" and too hectic? Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I can't give you any info on Huesca. Try the Spain Forum on www.tripadvisor.com for more info. You may get a better response. Also check out some guide books. I used the Northern Spain guide from Cadogan for Navarra. Good info.

THanks for the input. I am not sure if I'll end up staying overnight in Huesca or not. I have traveled all over Spain in the past (even lived there for a while), but haven't been to Huesca. I'll do more research and try to decide if it's worth the time, or whether I'll stay that night in Zaragoza (which I know well). Might end up a toss of the coin!

I am wondering why the TA forums are recommended when most posts get 0 to single digit answers? I haven't quite figured that board out yet for forums as the information seems hit or miss in terms of getting responses.
