We will be staying at the Hilton Stadtpark in Vienna. Are there any inexpensive but good restaurants of cafes nearby?

In general Vienna is an expensive city, and my idea of inexpensive may be different than yours, so it might be prudent to share your idea of "inexpensive" to help generate specific suggestions.

StadtParkBrau and Gmoakeller are within your price and location range for pretty decent Austrian food despite the touristy environment.

Henry The Art of Living at the Wien Mitte (Landstraße) station offers casual and rather tasty buffet international offerings. Think self-service, cafeteria-style and pay by the gram buffet with good food.

Irodion (Rochusgasse station) is a pretty acceptable Greek/Middle Eastern restaurant.

1516 is near Schwarzenbergplatz and serves decent pub food.

As for cafes, all should be within your range.
