Inexpensive Restaurant in Zurich

We are in Zurich for tonight only. Any recommendations for an inexpensive dinner costing ~75chf for 2 adults. No wine needed and a light meal is fine. Thanks!

For good vegetarian try Hiltl which has a serve area and a self-serve steam table.

Burger King. Two Whopper value meals should put you at about 40 CHF.

Seriously though, ECHO should meet your needs.

I love Hiltl, but it is not cheap. Although, you can easily get two meals for 75CHF

There is a beer/sausage place along the lake.

Walk to the lake end of Bahnhostraß and turn right.

You can actually have a light meal at the Terrace at Snooty Baur au Lac for 75CHF.

There is also Antinori off of the Bahnhofstraß.

Have fun with the icy matrons at Sprungli.

Never put "inexpensive" and "Zurich" in the same sentence.

For lunch, self service restaurants in department stores or at coop or migros.
For dinner, beer halls like Rheinfelder or Johanniter in the Niederdorfstrasse.

Believe it or not, I eat often at Bindella's and don't spend over 40 francs. I usually have their spaghetti al vongole, maybe a green salad, and small bottle of sparkling water. If you skip the salad, have one pasta dish each and no wine, you should easily be able to stay within your budget.

Asps- correct you are...inexpensive and Zurich do not go together.
We ended up being so exhausted from jet lag that we just wandered into one of the many cafes near us for a lite meal.. Thanks for the suggestions. Maybe next trip.
