In Search of the Perfect Globe in Madrid London and Paris

Jump to last reply

My original plans fell through and work is sending me to Madrid, London and Paris. yay for me! I will have some time off to explore. The news came to me today so I'm on step 1. If you happen to have ideas or places you'd like to share I'd love to hear them! I have to look for hotels, restaurants all that. I can revolve work meetings around where I'm staying so somewhere lively surrounded by restaurants and museums and parks is the goal. I love to walk around but I'll take the tube, Metro no big deal. I'm not big on busses they give me the heaves.

I love globes and have a small collection. The last one I purchased was from the Reina Sofia museum; very small about 2"x2" which turned out to be a sharpener! I had no idea until I was playing with it at home. My biggest globe is about twice the size of a human face. Open to all globe sizes and styles if the look is right, modern or antique. Where is a good place to find a nice looking globe in these cities?

I hope to hear from you! Thank you.
