While I'm in info sharing mode...
I was reading a piece yesterday about Glasgow's first Christmas Parade taking place this year and then found my way to the Glasgow Loves Christmas website.
There's lots of info on Christmas events in Glasgow, as well as St Andrew's Day and Hogmanany.
The Style Mile Christmas Parade takes place on Nov 18th and the lights are switched on on the 15th....

Hogmanay is fantatastic! I was there some time back, the festivities were really awesome. Great atmosphere and fantastic people, and I was staying at Merchant City with Fraser suites Glasgow so I was right in the middle of it all! Definitely something that you should experience if you have the chance.
