In lieu of a trp report...Ta DAAAAA ,My Italy Trip Photos

I have not posted my trip report and I may never get around to it but I have been working on getting everything uploaded and captioned on Yahoo.
I had a great time and I hope it comes through in these pictures. Hope you like them.

Thank you for sharing your great photos. I was especially interested in the ones from Ercolano, since I have been to Pompeii twice but have never made it to Herculaneum.

Who needs a trip report when you display such magical photos! I especially liked all the cliff dwellings in Amalfi, the cooking classes, the 2-in-1 toilet/bidet, and of course the Sorrento villa.

Thanks for giving me my fix for the day.

Your photos are great! Thanks for posting them.

Regarding your coffee grinding experience...is this a tour? Where was it?

I'm going with my mom and she would love to do this.

Thanks!

Dear Hot-
I am so jealous. Just spent 4 frustrating hrs on my photos yesterday and I think I mostly just made a hash of my hard drive.
Your pix are great-organized,captioned-you tell the story well w/ just the pix!
Thanks!

Thanks guys for this feedback
Nikki, Make sure you get to Ercolano. It is much smaller and hasn't been stripped. The frescoes are in great condition. Don't miss it.

Ira, I love Italy. It was my 8th time (maybe more, I lost count)there. I can't get enough. I should post some pictures from previous trips and you will see why. I have some very good friends who live near Milan and they also have an apartment in Pesciera del Garda to which we have a standing invitation. We have used it as a base on several occasions.
iloveitaly, those coffee ROASTING pictures were taken at Tazza D'Oro near the Pantheon in Rome. It is a great place for coffee and granita. It is in the back on the way to the toilets. Follow your nose! and bring your own toilet paper.
Suehoff,
I would be happy to help you with your photos. What seems to be the problem? Are you trying to upload them?

No just trying to edit then copy to a disc and they just won't copy to a disc. I am hoping my son can accomplish that today while he is home studying for finals. If he fails I'll email you for advice-yours were amazing!!!

Thank you, ahotpoet, for posting the beautiful pictures. I loved the ones of the cooking class and dinner. I remember reading your description of dinner and how everyone talked at once. The Amalfi coast pictures were just magnificent! Ahh, I remember it well!

ahp:unfortunately I was attempting to use many different programs that apparently have inbreeding or hostility towards one another. At last tho I have my slideshow on disk-thanks to DS!
Thanks tho for your support-I don't usually have so many tech probs-it was humbling.

poet,

I do have more but haven't gotten around to posting them yet.

One of my favorites is a venice scene. I have it enlarged to 16x20 and framed in my office.

I guess I need to get my 35mm photos scanned too.
