In and around Black Forest - 4 days
Hi! We have booked an apartment for 4 days (end of May) in Triberg and will be having the KONUS card for free travel by bus and train in the region. We want suggestions for day trips to the surrounding scenic areas in the Black Forest region. We love nature and outdoors. Will appreciate your suggestions and ideas!

Triberg itsself has the waterfalls and the cuckoo clock shops (which are, however, VERY touristy).
The Vogtsbauernhof is a fine open-air museum just down the road from Triberg. Certainly a must-see when you are in Triberg.

Further down the road you find the town Gengenbach. It is a beautiful historical town.

You may also go to Titisee which is a lively small town with a beautiful lake.

We just returned from Germany - and spent four days in the Black Forest. We enjoyed it very much. Went to the Vogtsbauernhof and would highly recommend it. Spent one night in Gengenbach and would recommend it as well. It's a beautiful town. We also spent three nights in Staufen which is another beautiful town. Have a good trip!
