I'm a bit flaky today.

I went to my German class, and when I got there, I realized that I'd done Friday's homework, but not today's homework. When I went to work with a little four-person groupI was embarrassed that I didn't have any answers. I also studied intensely and pretty much memorized the principal parts of 92 irregular verbs--then learned that I didn't need to do that yet. (In case you haven't studied a foreign language, the principal parts are the infinitive, 3rd person singular, past and perfect.)

The teacher made a rubric (scoring guide) for the little mini-presentations we give once a week, which I printed out and put into my carry-all.

However, when I pulled the rubric out in class, it turned out to be a sheet giving a low fiber diet, which I have to eat before my colonoscopy next week.

I think I should lie down for a while.
