If you've ever traveled with TourCrafters, please come forward!!!

I did a search through this site to find feedback about this travel company, and surprisingly almost nobody had anything to say about it. If you've ever traveled with them, or know anyone who's traveled with them, please share your experience! They have some amazing deals to Italy right now but I'm hesitant to book w/out learning more about the company.

Thanks,
JoJo

TourCrafters was featured in a newspaper article I read about a month ago. The article was written by Arthur Frommer, so I would suggest you also look up the Frommers website for info (sorru Fodors!). The article was favorable, appear to be an established, reputable travel company.

Actually I found out about them through Frommers, but I was hoping to hear from people who actually used them.

I have not used them but my sister went to Italy with them about 2&1/2 years ago. She was pleased withe them. Although she usually travels independently she was traveling with her mother in law and her aunt *in-law* who have hardly traveled at all and did not really feel comfortable doing it on their own. She said it was the typical travel groups but you can split for a while and do your own thing.

Remember the restaurants are never the best because the use ones that can accomadate bus loads of people and that will offer *contract prices*.

Overall she said you got exactly what the brochure said, no surprises>

Hope this helps.

My Husband and I traveled to Paris, France with Tourcrafters because they were listed on BudgetTravelOnline.com. I spoke with an agent on the phone and everything went very smoothly. I will definitely travel with them again if I go back to Europe. The package that I got was for Flight and Hotel, and I was very happy with all of it. There were many hotel choices, and the whole package was a real bargain. The website is not the best, so I would check out the packages on the website and then book over the phone.
