If you could see only one or the other, Evora or Obidos, which would it be?

We will have only 7 days in Portugal. We're trying to choose between possible daytrips. Can Evora be a daytrip? If so, is it better than Obidos? More to see? I know it is farther to get there. Any thoughts? (We like history, architecture, and scenery.)

I went to both places. Obidos has lots of great restaurants and is really charming, but if you like history and architecture, definitely do Evora. There are ruins of a roman temple, Vasco da Gama's home, the "Chapel of Bones", and a nice central square, all inside the city walls.
