If you can travel anywhere, Where would you travel?

If money and logistics were not a problem, where would you go and for how long?

No need to say your reasons but feel free to say anyway.

I returned 2 months ago from the Isle of Skye and can't wait to go back. I felt such a sense of peace and enjoyed the beauty.

If money and logistics were not a problem, where would you go and for how long?

I would retrace the Northern route of the Silk Road on foot starting in Istanbul (I'd do it proper and roll as a caravan). I'd then head to Vladivostok and take the Trans-Siberian railroad to Moscow, stopping every 36-48 hours to explore the area for a few days. I'd then take the world's longest and hottest shower and sleep for a week or two.

Another vote for Petra.

Norway, Sweden, Denmark. Back to Ireland.

Pretty much anywhere, really!

East Africa, southern Africa, Scandinavia and Svalbard, North America, Suriname, Antarctica.

Time rich, money poor so apart from perhps Scandinavia in the campervan I can't see me getting to the rest.

Agree there are dozens of places we would go if we could get the time.

Our next major trip will probably be Turkey - hoping for October, if we can get time off together.

The only place left from my list I made in 1974. I have seen the other 24.

I just returned from a month-long trip to eastern Europe--Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland (Gdansk, Ketzryn, Torun, and Warsaw).

Right now, I don't think I ever want to leave home again. I took planes, trains, and busses and rented a car with a standard transmission. (I said a lot of foul words while shifting that car.)

The idea of getting on a plane again simply appalls me.
