Ideas for day itinerary in County Clare, Ireland

Hello, My son (11 yrs), husband and I are going to Ireland for a 2 week trip in late Sept/early October. I have done quite a bit of planning for the first part of the trip but would really welcome some ideas for 2 full day itineraries in Clare at the end of our stay (staying 3 nights in Ennis as a base and then flying home from Shannon). We will have a car, and do like to walk and explore little towns and enjoy beautiful scenery. We will have come from Kerry and Dingle already. We would like to see the Cliffs of Moher and do some walking in the Burren on one of the days. Where is the best place to park and walk to see some of the Burren? Any ideas for the 2nd day? Thank you so much in advance.

Wow lots to look up and think about with those links, thank you. Trying to find the balance between not planning too much (or driving too much) but also making the most of the day and seeing what we can.

Just be aware that a lot of options might close off season, outdoors is always open but some tourist "Sites" rather than sights tend to wind down the end of September.

Glor might have something on in the evenings http://www.glor.ie/ 22nd September is probably too early for you but its the last date for the Ennis Comhaltas http://www.coisnahabhna.ie/whats-on/...na-events/265/
