I believe someone recently posted a question asking if Iceland melting.
Apparently he was wrong about that. However, it looks as if Greenland is melting:
Today's paper states that ice in the Artic ocean & "on Greenland's massive ice cap" shrank to record levels this summer, surprising even climatologists.

Thank you Susan. But if Greenland is melting I expect Iceland is too. By the way, does anyone know if I should go to Florida now before it joins Atlantis at the bottom of the sea?
An article in The Philadelphia Inquirer <http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/4689103.htm> predicts a sudden cooling of the earth which can last for centuries.
Go figure!
