I`m thinking of going to hopefully see `Northern Lights` glaciers etc .Should I book Tour/s or go independently with daily trips from hotel? should I split my stay to 2/3 hotels? In different parts of Iceland. Any thoughts would be most welcome. I`ll be there the last week of Feb And i`m well aware that it will be very cold, Thanks people.
Iceland ,winter wonderland or what?

We went to Iceland for 6 nights in December and stayed in the same hotel in Reykjavik the whole time, doing day tours from the city. If we had stayed longer, we would have probably spent some time in Akureyri. I booked a Northern Lights package with icelandguest.com (http://www.icelandguest.com/vacation-package/northern-lights/), which included hotel and several day tours, and I added a glacier tour (amazing). Very well organized, and we were extremely satisfied with their services. But if you don't want to book a tour package, you can easily book day tours from your hotel or from the tour companies themselves in Reykjavik. Dress warm and you'll have a great time.
