Iceland in March: Northern Lights
Hi, I'm looking for a bit of guidance for a short trip to Iceland. Looking to go for 4 nights in March, hoping to see the Northern lights. Wondering if package deal is best and what companies people have used. Don't mind booking ala carte either. Need hotel recommendations, and a tour company for viewing lights. 2 adults. Besides Blue Lagoon and the city, anything else of great interest to see in the winter?
Thanks

Icelandair does Northern alights package tours so that might be the way to go. Weather could still be iffy in March, so I probably wouldn't rent a car but you might prefer to. The Golden Circle is always wonderful- Geysir, Gulfoss, and Thingvellir. Snorkeling in the Silfra Fissure is amazing but not sure if you can that time of year.
