Iceland Driving Suggestions

My wife, daughter and I will be in Iceland for three nights next week and will be renting a car. Could anyone give me some destinations in Iceland that should not be missed? What about the West Fiords? or is that to far away. I thought maybe some coastal driving may be nice.
