Iceland Air

Jump to last reply

Several things I experienced on Iceland Air traveling to Europe that the traveler might like to be aware of:
1) Though Iceland Air flys regular Boeing aircraft, I was on a Boeing 737, they would not let me or my wife bring our 18 inch rolling suit cases as carry on lugage (as we have done on at least 10 other carriers) even though the said they would when I telephoned them before the flight. They made us check them and of course they were damaged.
2) To Europe they served us free wine only with meals( limit 2)..
Returning from Europe, no free alcholic beverages until after we departed Iceland for the U.S..
