Has anyone been to Iceland? If so, have you been to the Blue Lagoon Geothermal spa? When is the best time to go?

Yes I have been there twice. Iceland is beautiful! The Blue Lagoon is very commercial. It is like a waem to hot swimming pool with strong sulphor odor.
I was there last Wednesday around noon and it was practically empty. In any case, it is not advisable to stay in the water more than 15-30 minutes.
From all my extensive travels in Iceland, the Blue Lagoon is definitely NOT at the top of the list. We only went there this time because the other couple traveling with us were curious to see the place.
