Please has anyone any experience of hiring one of the NMT long-range phones in Iceland? If so wwas it OK/worthwhile?
I'm planning on two weeks with my own car ex UK. It's 2WD drive so I won't be on mountain roads, but I'm wondering if it is worth it in case of problems, especially given the absence of traffic on some roads. Pick up and return would be at Egilsstadir.
