Ian McKellen & Patrick Stewart in No Man's Land

Just a heads up. Limited run at the Wyndham's Sept 10-Dec 17. The tickets are going fast . . . I just booked for my birthday in Dec . . . which means I need to book a trip . . .

The production is touring through Sheffield, Newcastle, Brighton and Cardiff in August before hitting London.

Ugh, we'll just miss them... not arriving until the 19th. It would have been so cool to see them.

Not a 'follow up' exactly . . . They did the two plays together in repertory on Broadway. Only doing No Man's Land this go round.

Good move, janisj. We saw them in this play a couple of years ago at the Berkeley Rep, definitely worth seeing.

Oh, janis, I am so glad you will be able to attend. Thanks for the heads-up on this, although I don't think a London trip is in the cards for us anytime soon. I've been offline (out of town, family stuff) for some weeks so am just getting caught up, and appreciate the notice. I do hope you have a great trip (and a happy birthday!) and will come back and let us know about this show. Or if anyone else attends or get tickets, please do speak up. I know I'm biased but feel we can always use more London theatre discussion!

Thanks again, janis.

Well, KyraS, any time you want to discuss the West End stuff we just saw a couple of weeks ago start a thread.

I got a heads up about this this week Janis!! It was listed as one of the top 5 openings on a site called Just Opened London. I may be in London for a few days in early December...but will have to wait and see...looks great, enjoy! Check out Kitty Fishers in Shepherds Market...great spot for lunch, or dinner if you can get a table

Never one to miss an opportunity to name drop - I've shared a stage on more than one occasion with Patrick Stewart.

Nowt glamorous .... Just watching with other academics whilst graduates came on stage for their degrees which he handed out. Funny thing is he never boasts that he has shared a stage with me.
