I NEED HELP!! - Looking for hotels in Rome, Istanbul and Florence

I will be in these places for 1 or 2 nights each in October and need some advice. My wife and I are intersted in staying somewhere clean, affordable, and located within walking distance of major attractions. If you have some advice, please share it. Thanks!
