Hut to Hut in Bavarian Alps in the Spring.

Jump to last reply

I'll be traveling to the Balvarian Alps this early May. I'm wanting to park the car and hike into one of the hut locations possible two. I'm trying to find something beautiful and challenging that will take a good 5 hours to get to. I hope to find a less popular hut location that is smaller with less guests. There are so many but which ones are accessible in May without snow shoes and are within 2 hours of Munich? The websites are in German and I've emailed one hut with no response.
