How to spend three days in Switzerland

Jump to last reply

My 10 year old daughter and I arrive in Geneva on 26th July and leave on the 29th. I'm wondering what is the best way for us to spend our time there? Should we stay in Geneva the whole time, or go out to a surrounding town for one night - Lausanne or otherwise? I've heard mixed reports about Geneva and so am not sure and would appreciate any advice, along with suggestions for hotels in the mid budget range.
Thanks in advance.
