I have been seing pictures of boats going thru Faraglioni. Can one make a trip there easily after getting to Capri and find a boat tour? Or is it better from the land?

Hello Dan,<BR><BR>There's a boat tour to the Faraglioni on the 'Tritone' from Positano, run by Cooperativa Sant'Andrea.<BR><BR>I haven't done it, but they circumnavigate Capri and then dock at Marina Piccola (rather than the main port, Marina Grande). This is a beautiful spot with a bar, a couple of restaurants, a small beach ... and a dive centre.<BR><BR>There's a bus or you can walk up to Capri town.<BR><BR>I think the Tritone stops about 4-5 hours at Marina Piccola to give you time to visit the island, go for a swim etc ... then returns to Positano.<BR><BR>For details seeBR>www.coopsantandrea.it<BR><BR>I guess there must be a similar tour starting from the port of Capri at Marina Grande.
