How to calculate my 3 month stay in Europe?

Hello All,

Coming up, pretty soon actually, i have planned a trip to Europe and am a bit lost on how to calculate how many days i am staying in Europe without going over the three month limit. my problem stems from how to deal with the UK and Gibraltar. i am a Canadian citizen and the following countries are where i am visiting:

Gibraltar
Italy
Turkey
Greece
Croatia
Czech Republic
Belgium
France
UK
Ireland
Spain

I am traveling from May 22nd till September 7 of this year. i understand that Turkey doesn't count since you get a visa on arrival and i plan to stay around 10 days. for the UK, since being a Canadian citizen i read that i get around 6 months in the country, but i wonder if the time i use up in the UK count towards my overall 3 months in Europe. The same goes for Gibraltar. In total the time i plan on staying is 3 weeks between these 2 places.

Does anyone have an answer to this by any chance?
Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks, Aaron

Plan on staying in the UK for the end of your trip. Between the 10 days in Turkey and the time spent in the UK you should have no problems staying elsewhere within the 90 day limit.

That would be impossible now since this is a group trip and most of my bookings are done. i was stupid to not think of the worst case scenario. My original plan had me staying 2 week in turkey and3 weeks in morocco, but some how it got cut down.

The UK does not count towards your 90 days in Schengen - and neither does Croatia...

You are allowed any 90 days in 180, from the date you first enter the zone, in the Schengen area without a visa.

The UK, Ireland, Turkey, Gibraltar and Croatia are non Schengen so do not count towards those 90 days. However you need to be careful as the days leaving and re-entering the zone do count.

'i will keep a careful look out for my entry and exit times from the schengen zone.' - You should certainly maintain an accurate documented record of all your travel. If there is a border control and no 'stamp' is offered, ask for one.

Keep receipts, tickets, boarding cards and every other bit of evidence as to where you were on a given date
