Does anyone have experience/knowledge as to the need to be at the museum at the time indicated on your ticket.
eg. If ticket admits you at 2PM and if you show up at 3 PM will the museum honor your ticket?
Obviously, lateness would not be intentional, but sometimes it is unavoidable especially while traveling.

Usually, but not always, timed tickets have some leeway, ime, 30 minutes. An hour late might be pushing it.

YOur ticket will be valid the entire day. I don't know how you could be an hour late, though, unless you plan to come direct from the airport and don't know if your plane will be late or something. If you are in the city, you can easily tell about how long it will take you to get there.

Thank you for your responses. Christina's response seems to indicate that one can ignore the time stamp issued on the ticket.(In answer to Christina's inquiry/statement I would direct her to my original post).

Timed tickets are for special exhibets, not general admission. If you are too late, you will not be allowed into the special show. They do it for crowd control.
